Start date: 01.03.2024, the initial xed term is three years. (This is a xed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic xed-term labor contract act [Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz, WissZeitVG]).

Your responsibilities

Research associates will be expected primarily to teach and conduct research. The research associate will also have the opportunity to pursue further academic qualications, in particular a doctoral dissertation. At least one-third of set working hours will be made available for the research associate’s own academic work.

The applicant is expected to initiate and conduct research projects, analyze data and publish research ndings as a rst author. To gain maximum benet from the research surroundings, the applicant‘s research interests should t into the scope of the departments‘ focus on mechanisms of psychotic symptom formation and maintenance and their translation into novel interventions. The infrastructure for both basic and intervention research for patients with psychotic disorders is available. The applicant will be expected to teach within the clinical Bachelor and Master of Sciences Programs with 2 LVS, which is equivalent to 2 seminars, lectures, or colloquia within each term.

We further expect excellent English language skills and the willingness to prepare English manuscripts as well as advanced methods skills (complex data-analysis and/or experience with one or several of the following research methods or paradigms,

Pronounced scientic interest and previous experience in research (proven via e.g. assistant positions, internships, participation in publications or similar), preferably in the area of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy.

■Started or completed training as child and youth therapist (or similar training abroad).■

e.g. psychophysiological assessments, such as EEG and eye-tracking, ecological momentary assessment, basic experimental learning paradigms).

We oer support in reaching your own scientic intentions and goals, joint use of existing data, a supportive team, technical support in conducting experimental and/or ambulatory studies, opportunities for international networking and ample opportunities to participate in regular workshops on methods and workshops on scientic writing. Applicants who aim to combine the research associate position with clinical training are welcome, as long as their main focus lies on the PhD.
