starting from November 2024. Payment is based on the German TV-L scale (E13, 65%). Positions will be funded for 3 years.

The RTG 2660 offers the unique opportunity to join a strong interdisciplinary team of researchers with a shared interest in studying approach and avoidance on multiple descriptive, interferential, and analytical levels. The research program emphasizes on the translation of findings from basic to applied research and from animal models towards humans.

The RTG 2660 is well embedded in the highly active neuroscience community in Würzburg and can rely on a broad, state-of-the-art technological and methodological infrastructure for experiments in animal models as well as for human experimental studies and research on patients. The program is complemented by seminars, courses, hands-on workshops, writing and presentation training as well as mentoring and career development opportunities.

We are seeking highly qualified students holding an M.Sc. or equivalent degree with a background in one or several of the following fields: Neuroscience, Psychology, (Neuro)biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Biophysics.

The University of Würzburg is an equal opportunities employer.
