Göttingen, “City of Science”, located near the center of Germa-
ny, the University Medical Center Göttingen is embedded in
the city’s attractive network of scientific research facilities.
We seek an experienced Psychologist with excellent
statistical proficiency for our outcome research (esp. health-
related quality of life, neuropsychological, psychosocial) in
adults, elderly, and children after traumatic brain injury
and other diseases. The successful candidate should have
excellent statistical knowledge (psychometric - classical
and modern methods, biometrics), as well as experience
in handling large data volumes. Command of SPSS and
R is indispensable, and M+ etc. desirable. Solid history of
publishing and conduct of complex studies are important.
Experience in acquisition of funding is an advantage.
Excellent command of the English language is mandatory.
Proficiency German is absolutely vital, as the position requires
teaching at the University Medicine Göttingen and cooperati-
on in national and international research consortia. We initially
offer a two year contract which the possibility of prolongation.
