Post Summary
Trinity Business School (TBS) at Trinity College Dublin is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr. Wladislaw Rivkin on research in micro-organisational behaviour, with a focus on self-regulation, well-being, and performance at work. Standard Duties and Responsibilities of the Post
Research Responsibilities:
This position is clearly focusing on research, and the chosen candidate should devote at least 80% of his/her time to this activity. The chosen candidate should contribute to the creation of new knowledge and publish in high-quality, international peer-reviewed journals (ABS4/ABS4* or FT50). Specifically, this post-doc position focuses on the following responsibilities:
• Contribute to the design, analysis, and write-up of empirical projects (e.g., diary/ESM and multilevel research, review articles, and meta-analyses).
• Support the coordination and progress of research collaborations (meetings, reading/writing sessions).
• Provide mentoring and methodological support for PhD students, with opportunities to support supervision activities (as appropriate).
• Support the coordination of an online Research Methods module and some minor involvement in service activities to support the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies role (small teaching/service component; aligned with modern digital teaching practices).
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will get at least one paper accepted in a journal ranked ABS4/ABS4* or FT50 within the timeframe of the appointment. The position may entail participation and/ or management of externally funded research applications and projects.
Administrative and Teaching Responsibilities:
The position also entails some specific and timely administrative responsibilities for the Associate Dean of Postgraduate Studies. Finally, the successful applicant is expected to support the coordination of an online Research Methods module. The successful applicant may be asked to take responsibilities such as dissertation supervision.
Hours of Post: 39 hours per week
Salary: Appointment will be made on the IUA Researcher Salary scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy and the specific salary point will be determined by qualifications and experience.
