The Department of Cognitive Psychology at the University of Würzburg offers a position for a
Post-doctoral Researcher (100%; TV-L) for a period of 3 years.
The position is funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft;
DFG) in the project Sociomotor Action Control. The planned research targets action representation
and control in social interactions using behavioral and electrophysiological (EEG, EMG) data.
The position involves planning, programming and running experimental studies, and communicating
findings at international conferences as well as in peer-reviewed journals. As an ideal candidate, you
would have a PhD in Psychology, Systems Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
Programming skills (e.g., E-Prime, PsychoPy) and analysis skills (e.g., SPSS, R, MATLAB) are
essential, experience with electrophysiological data is a plus.
