Who are we?
The Center for Digital Health Interventions ( www.c4dhi.org ) is a joint initiative of the Department of Management, Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich and the Institute of Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen. Our interdisciplinary team of computer and social scientists partners with medical experts to des ign behavioral, scalable and self-improving digital health interventions (“digital pills”) that are effective and cost-efficient and which are based on digital biomarker and digital coaching research .

What do we offer?
From April/May 2019 on, w e offer you a position at our ETH Zurich office in the research project HEADWIND funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (www.snf.ch). The project partners are the Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology, Clinical Nutrition, and Metabolism, Inselspital, Bern University Hospital and the Bosch Internet of Things Lab (www.iot-lab.ch) . You will work with a highly motivated team of youn g researchers to develop an in - vehicle warning system for individuals with diabetes . You take direct project responsibility for the iterative design and empirical evaluation of the intervention . Good conditions and work environment complete this attractive package. The average duration
for successfully obtaining a PhD in our team is 3 1/2 years.

Who m are we looking for?
You should have a Master’s degree in health psychology and strong interest in human-computer interaction , preferable in the context of digital and mobile health. In addition, you should have a GPA (G rade Point Average) of at least 5.0 (GPA of 2.0 and better in Germany or Austria) to be eligible for a PhD at ETH Zurich. Finally, a profound knowledge o f English and German (writ ten and oral) is required.
