Single-subject prediction of motor performance in health and disease
We are happy to announce a fully funded PhD position in machine learning for
neuroimaging at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-7, https://www.fz-juelich.de/inm/inm-7/EN) with Prof. Dr. Simon Eickhoff.
This position is part of the recently awarded Collaborative Research Center “SFB 1451: Key mechanisms of motor control in health and disease” together with the University of Cologne, offering excellent teaching and career development options.
We are looking for a doctoral researcher interested in the development and application of novel machine-learning approaches to large neuroimaging datasets in order to better understand inter-individual differences in motor behavior in healthy subjects, changes thereof over the lifespan and their impairment in patients with neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson’s disease.

Requirements:
· Master's or equivalent degree
· Substantial programming expertise (Matlab or Python) is a must
· Previous experience with neuroimaging data handling is highly desired
