The European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) is an international non-profit organization based in
Leipzig, with a secondary location in Frankfurt (Main), Germany, led by Prof. Ulrich Hegerl. The main
aim of the EAAD is to improve care and optimize treatment for patients with depressive disorders and
to prevent suicidal behavior globally. The EAAD is involved in several European research projects
targeting depression, suicide prevention and e-mental health such as the “MINDUP” project and the
“ImpleMentAll” project. “MINDUP” (01/2020 – 01/2024) aims to promote mental health in Small and
Medium Enterprises in the healthcare, ICT and construction sector and will develop, implement and
evaluate resources targeting depression, comorbid anxiety and suicidal behaviour at the workplace.
“ImpleMentAll” (01/2017 – 03/2021) focuses on faster and more effective implementation of eHealth
interventions across Europe.

To support our EAAD team, we are looking for a full-time (100%) project manager as of 08/2020 with a
duration of at least 2 years. The position will be based at the University Hospital in Frankfurt (Main),
the academic affiliation of the EAAD.

Your responsibilities:

• Administration, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of both EU-funded projects

• Content management of project websites and social media channels

• Communication with international stakeholders and within the international project consortia

• Organization of project meetings and events (i.e. consortium meetings, final conferences)

• Scientific publications on the project results and writing project reports

• Support other grant applications within international project consortia

Your profile:

• University degree (Master, Diploma) in Psychology, Public Health, (Science) Communication or
other related fields

• Experience in intercultural communication is an advantage

• Experience in the application and the project management of (international) consortial,

preferably EU-funded projects

• Experience in dissemination, exploitation, and scientific publications of study results

• Very good to excellent English in speaking and writing is mandatory, proficient German is an


• Technical skills (MS Office, website CMS such as Contao, Typo3 and/or WordPress, social

media platforms, graphic programmes)

• Experience and interest in implementation science, mental health promotion and technology
