Doctoral Position (65%) in Work and Organizational Psychology at the University of Neuchâtel (f/m/d)

The research group of Prof. Dr. Maike Debus at the Institute of Work and Organizational Psychology (IPTO, www.unine.ch/ipto) of the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland) is offering a position as a doctoral student. Start date for the position is June 1, 2021 (or upon agreement). The group conducts research in the areas of economic stressors (esp. job insecurity and overqualification), resources and recovery, as well as impression management on the job.

Your future tasks:

- Writing a dissertation in one of the research areas mentioned above
- Designing, running, analyzing, presenting and publishing studies
- Support in teaching seminars
- Supervising student work
- Taking on administrative tasks at the institute

Your profile:

- Great interest in research into work and organizational psychology
- Above-average university degree (master's) in psychology or a related field
- Interest in teaching in the field of work and organizational psychology
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Very good knowledge of methods and statistics or the ability and willingness to acquire further in-depth methodological knowledge
- Ability to work independently and conscientiously
- High organizational skills
- The University of Neuchâtel is located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Therefore, knowledge of French is an advantage (but not a requirement).
